MISSION

Innovation Challenge: To develop an innovative communications tool for the 29th International Fundraising Conference (IFC) that puts all 900 participants, from all over the world, at the centre and opens up dialogue in real-time for all IFC participants. 

Innovation Specifications: Marceloiniarra.com joined forces with the Resource Alliance to sponsor this year’s 29th IFC with the development of an innovative communications tool via Innophoria Labs.

This communications tool must be available to all participants and enable them to give real-time session feedback, network and maintain an open line of instant communication throughout the IFC. 

Innovation Tools: Innophoria Labs developed an easy to use, instant communications tool using Twitter and a basic projection screen. 

Result: The Twitter Billboard – Allows participants to communicate with each other throughout the IFC via Twitter. The messages would then be projected onto a large screen in real-time, providing instant feedback, networking opportunities and general communication throughout the conference. The billboard can be customized for all organizations for both internal and external conference needs.
